What Others Are Saying
“Alissa, Thank you so much for everything you and the coaching process have given me. The positive approach that you take, the personal insight that you provide, and the challenges that you give, allowed me the opportunity to really understand what is important to me both professionally and personally. While I had a good understanding of who I was, the coaching process really re-enforced my perception of who I am, and gave detailed insight to why.
As a result of the coaching process my employer also realized that I may have potential beyond my current position, and I was given an opportunity to take an assignment in a completely different area. I have successfully completed that assignment which has given me experience that I would not have otherwise gained, and proven to my employer that I am capable of much more than the duties of my current position. I whole heartedly recommend the career coaching experience as a way to identify potential in employees and for employers to maximize that potential. Thanks again.” ~T.W., Electrical Engineer & Group Leader

“Alissa, I would like to thank you for the coaching you gave me. I learned a lot during our sessions. When I was first told about the coaching, I was reluctant to say the least. I thought I would play along with this exercise just to please our managers. Then you mentioned homework. I thought “Great, like I am not busy enough.” Then, it happened. One of the homework assignments, the CALL, started to make sense. I found myself thinking back to this. Once it started, I could not stop. I started going back and looking at some of the other homework. I thought “this is not just another exercise, I might actually get something out of this.” After the enlightenment, I got more engaged and looked forward to each session. I thought, “this is really helpful and maybe my managers did see something in me.” As I started using the lessons and the insight that I got from the sessions and homework, talking to others came easier. With that calmness, I found that I was calmer and less likely to “blow my top” when talking with certain people. I really benefited from our sessions. I know as I keep using these lessons, I will achieve my goals and help others. Thank you again and I hope more people join in on learning how coaching can change your life professionally and personally. ~J.B., Manufacturing Engineer

“When I was laid off, I was absolutely sure that I had wasted 22 years of my life. I had never really worked in my major field of study and had been laid off twice in 6 years. I was a 51-year-old middle manager with no prospects and no future. I felt that I needed to reinvent myself and start over in a new field. After I took “The Call,” I began to rethink everything. The process took me four months, but after several interviews with potential employers and conversations with Alissa, the light bulb finally went off. I had not “settled.” I had been doing what I was supposed to be doing for the last 22 years, I just never realized it. My “reinvention” had to be in my thinking, not my career. Now, my whole world has been reversed. I am energized and I see myself as a valued asset to my next employer. My family and friends have seen a marked change in my personality and perspective and I can’t wait to get back to work. Thank you, God, for pointing me to Alissa…and thank you, Alissa, for helping me to find “The Call” in my life!” ~J.R., Materials Management Professional

He is much more engaged in not only his own activities but also in helping others, subordinates and peers. He has a much more positive attitude and seems to actually be enjoying himself at work. The self evaluation and analysis seemed to be right on target. I think that the investment in this employee was shown to be worthwhile.” ~ B.G., Engineering Manager

“The Call” is an awesome tool for self-discovery! After various majors in college and a financially rewarding, yet personally unfulfilling career in Corporate America, I finally stumbled my way into the purpose that God had for me all along. It was always in me, but it took me a long time to figure it out. I wish I’d had a tool such as “The Call” 20 years ago! It affirmed that my gifts and calling are what I am doing right now, and that includes empowering others to live in their purpose. I am excited about becoming a coach myself, and using “The Call” to help others to identify their gifts.” ~ Talayah Stovall, Author, Speaker and Life Purpose Coach

“The Call is an amazing tool to use in any coaching practice. Whether someone is trying to clarify their God-given strengths to figure out their life purpose, or if someone is trying to find a career they are passionate about, “The Call” is a firm foundation on which to build. I cannot imagine having a faith-based career coaching practice without The Call. It is the starting point of all of my coaching relationships. My clients who have already taken “The Call” are extremely complimentary of the assessment and are encouraged by their results. Alissa has created a wonderful curriculum that guides the coach through a thorough training and gives the coach the knowledge and practical ability to be comfortable using The Call. Her enthusiasm for The Call is apparent from the first training session. She is positive, encouraging, knowledgable, and wise, and she has a heart for teaching and leading. If anyone would like a whole-person, faith-based assessment to use in their coaching practice, The Call is the answer.” ~ Casey Sollock, Coach & Founder of Quit to Grow Rich!

Taking “The Call” was encouraging and very enlightening. For me, the assessment was very accurate. Through the evaluation process, I was able to better understand how God had “wired” me and it also helped me to identify why I experience certain successes and challenges as a result of that “wiring.” I feel confident to move forward in ministry areas where I now have a confirmation of my God-given gifts. I would recommend “The Call” to anyone faced with occupational decisions, who desire confidence to move forward in their spiritual calling or who simply want to be more like Jesus. ~ Marsha Kendall, ECF Church Secretary, Event Coordinator, and Mom
